Description
What this service covers
Small teams often have nobody experienced enough to check their riskiest changes. Share a pull request or patch file, and a specialist reviews it in order of importance: correctness first, then unhandled failures, then structure, then the finer details. Comments are placed on the exact lines they concern, and a brief merge recommendation closes the review. The limit is 400 changed lines, and the work stops at reviewing; we do not rewrite your code.
What you receive
- Line-level comments on a single pull request with no more than 400 lines changed
- A final verdict: merge, merge after changes, or do not merge yet
- Every comment marked as blocking, recommended or a matter of taste
- Failure scenarios we believe the change misses
- Notes on any tests that should be added before release
The work in 4 stages
-
01
Stage 1: Give access
You invite our reviewer into your repository, or email us a patch instead.
-
02
Stage 2: Review
A specialist studies the diff along with the nearby code needed to assess it.
-
03
Stage 3: Annotate
Feedback is left directly on the pull request rather than in a separate file.
-
04
Stage 4: Discuss
We respond once to your replies in the thread, so it becomes a proper conversation.
Who it suits, and what we need from you
Ideal for
- Solo developers and small teams with no senior reviewer
- Teams releasing risky changes such as payment or login logic
- Founders who want contractor code checked independently before it is merged
What we need from you
- Access to the repository for one reviewer, or a patch that includes sufficient context
- A brief note explaining the purpose of the change
You share these through the brief on your order page after checkout.
What changes for your team
- Experienced review of your most critical change without hiring
- Failure cases caught before users run into them
- Feedback that sits inside the tool your developer already has open
