Description
What this service covers
Writing code for the wrong idea costs far more than building the right one slowly, so this work puts the concept under pressure first. We interview five people who will actually use the product, work out the task they need done and sketch every flow from start to finish. That includes the states teams usually skip: an empty screen, a failed action and partial permissions. Screens stay at wireframe level, up to 20 of them, with notes on behaviour. At the close you hold annotated wireframes, a prioritised scope split into launch and later, and phase-by-phase effort ranges your team can plan around.
What you receive
- Five user interviews, recorded and summarised into clear findings
- Diagrams of the primary journey and two supporting journeys
- Up to 20 annotated wireframe screens, including empty and error states
- A prioritised feature list divided between launch and a later release
- A log of assumptions, each paired with a method for testing it
- Phase-by-phase effort figures given as low-to-high ranges
- A presentation of the findings to your wider team
The work in 4 stages
-
01
Stage 1: Listen
We hold five conversations with actual users or close stand-ins.
-
02
Stage 2: Make sense
Recurring themes are drawn out and conflicting views are recorded honestly.
-
03
Stage 3: Sketch
Flows and wireframes take shape, with two review rounds alongside you.
-
04
Stage 4: Prioritise
Features are ordered and estimated using what the research showed.
Who it suits, and what we need from you
Ideal for
- Founders with a concept in their head but no written plan
- Teams whose previous launch added features that went unused
- Businesses that must justify an estimate to their board
What we need from you
- Five users we can speak with, or people who deal with the problem closely
- A stakeholder who can join two review meetings
- Any existing research, support tickets or objections raised in sales
You share these through the brief on your order page after checkout.
What changes for your team
- Debates about scope are settled on paper before software exists
- Estimates are grounded in drawn screens rather than a loose description
- Weak assumptions surface early, when fixing them costs little
